SPRINGFIELD, MA Š An exhibit of more than 40 photographs by award-winning photographer Jim Gillen will be on display at Baystate Medical Center, 759 Chestnut St., March 11 to May 5.
The photos will be on exhibit in the Baystate Arts Alive Gallery that stretches between the Daly and Springfield buildings of the hospital. It can be reached from the Daly entrance on Medical Center Drive.
An amateur photographer for more than 40 years, Gillen has a wide repertoire of photos from scenic landscapes to close-ups that he has gathered locally and in his travels. He will be featuring photos from in sites including Chatham, Hadley and Hampden in Massachusetts, and Connecticut, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Washington state, Florida and Vienna. The show will include photographic prints and photos printed on canvas.
